Christian Michaels is a visual artist who has recently begun using interactive video in his work. A native of New York, he graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Psychology in 1982. Since then, Mr. Michaels has been working in the field of commercial photography, providing imagery for Getty Images and commercial clients. His work ranges from photography, graphics, electronic music and video. He collaborated with Ms. Maldonado for “Point of Departure” last November for UCLA’s Open Borders project.
