As an inter-media artist, Charley Ten is committed to exploring human perceptions of space through projects in which live and recorded media overlap with elements of performativity and layers of social consciousness. Ten's work seeks to establish new points of contact within technology-laden social spaces through the use of computing, video, electrical engineering and communication technology. Ten is currently a member of the Detroit-based electronic dance music collective BerettaMusic, where he actively promotes the integration of technology with event production on a global scale. In March of 2009, Ten began hosting a podcast of deep electronic music featuring mixes by many of his noteworthy colleagues from around the world.
